Connected for Wellness Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes the information collected about you by the Connected for Wellness application ("App"), published by Allyance Logic, Inc. ("Allyance" or "we") on behalf of the University of California, Riverside, as well as our practices for collecting, processing, and disclosing such information.

What We Collect

We collect information from and about you when you provide it to us and automatically when you use the App.

When you create a profile, we collect answers to onboarding questions such as age, race/ethnicity, gender, and general demographics. You can choose "would rather not say."
The App does not collect information that directly identifies you (e.g., name, email, IP address).
The App generates an anonymous ID for research use.
Additional check-ins may collect info like sleep and well-being.
We collect App usage data such as pages visited and notification tokens.

We do not sell or share any personally identifying information with any third parties.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted.

Purpose of Collection

To deliver timely, age-appropriate resources.
To analyze aggregate usage trends for improvement.

How We Process Your Information

Information is aggregated and stored in a central database. Notification tokens are used only for sending push messages and are anonymous.

To respond to your information requests.
To provide researchers with anonymized usage data for research.
To send optional notifications about resources or check-ins.
To store preferences and improve the app experience.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose anonymized or aggregated data freely. Personal information may be disclosed:

To fulfill the purpose for which you provided it.

We do not share personal information for marketing purposes.

You can review/change your data in the App or by contacting us. Some deletion requests may require profile deletion.

You may delete your profile anytime in the App’s Profiles section.

We take reasonable steps to secure your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for controlling device access.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy and will post changes in the App. Check this page periodically for updates.
